F.Y.I. - I know it probably doesn't matter at this point but the rail crossing on Michigan Ave. (near Michigan Pub) in Kenilworth has been removed and paved over. That just leaves the crossing on the boulevard( by A&P), the crossing on Market St(Kenilworth) ,the crossing on W. Colfax Ave. (Roselle Park near H.S.) and the crossing on Westfield Ave. (Roselle Park) still intact. They really should just remove the rest of them as they all are hard on your car.

Question is,are they town or state owned street crossings,if state owned,dont count on it being repaired/paved over
anytime soon

They would do best to reclaim and redeploy the materials, there are no freight customers left back there, other than a lumber yard. My impression is that the project was corruption-driven, not business-driven.
