According to Twitter reports from WMTW-8's Norm Karkos, a trespasser was hit in the Forsest Ave area of Portland early this morning. The person was taken to the hospital with what Karkos described as non life threatening injuries.

I heard it was fatal. The train had to go to Rigby so the leading engine could be pulled from service and the crossing was checked for signal defects throughout the morning. May have been intentional, however.

Live report from Karkos at 4:30 AM said non life threatening. All news agencies that reported said non-life threatening. News tonight still said non-life threatening...
