If your weekend or later plans included getting a year's worth of cholesterol at The Box Car in Erving, those plans will need reformulation. There are signs -- undated -- on the door and window stating that the eatery is temporarily closed.

The signs were home-brew -- either from a computer or from someone with exceptional fine-motor skills -- and not official BoH.

According to the original (until Feb 2014) owner's FB page, she is opening a new restaurant elsewhere in town. The Boxcar was owned by someone else for a few months, and closed. : https://www.facebook.com/BoxcarRestaura ... 3639226217" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
