Yes, we know. They have not gone anywhere, nor are they likely to anytime soon. There's been an effort to stabilize them and partially restore them cosmetically. It's all documented in another thread.

Yes. Terry is the one who spearheaded the above mentioned stabilization/restoration efforts.

Terry has also spoken on the subject at several seminars. Last year I was able to meet Terry finally when he spoke at Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Me. The show was free, with donations accepted (and given) towards the museum. If you ever have the chance to meet Terry or sit in on one of his presentations, do not miss the opportunity.
