"The Vosburg Flyer" is a diesel powered trip (Former Grant Trunk SD38s) that is being sponsored by the lackawanna & Wyoming Valley Chapter of the NRHS. May 3 at 10 AM they will run from Duryea to Scranton via R&N's branch through the Keyser valley, crossing Luzerne St. Train comes back to Duryea to run on the Reading & Northern's Lehigh Valley main to Tunkhannock and Vosburg. The rare mileage portions are the approx. 5 miles on the Scranton branch and the 5 miles past Tunkhannock. To top things off, the train will take the LV Mountain Cutoff to reach Penobscot yard before returning to Duryea. The day is expected to end around 7.
