Listening to the Bridgeport FD radioreference feed reports are that all occupants are off the train.

News 12 CT reporting injuries along with a lot of other damage. How on earth did this happen?!?!

Let's hope the reported injuries aren't serious. The pictures are humbling.

9193 is the M8 with the missing fireman's side (left train) and 9247 & 9310 are the cars that were hit on the right.

Wow what a mess. Thank goodness it didn't derail on the (Burr Farms Rd.?) bridge or who knows what would have happened.

Was the location near where the former Burr Road Tower had been? Were the two trains involved going in the same or opposite directions?

According to the emails from Metro North
All eastbound trains are turning at South Norwalk
And westbound trains will turn at Bridgeport

OK folks, I cannot stress how serious this situation is. PLEASE don't post information that is not based in fact!!! I'm sure we'll all know what happened once the designated officials do their investigations.
