Yes I also saw the news about the fema funding, that's good news! It's also good news that the track futher up from 209 is in decent repairable shape. Hopefully the ground doesn't freeze up too soon so some more track work can get done. :)

Wow that is good news regarding fema. I've been hoping that it was a case of "no news is good news".

Saturday, December 29th

Saturday was John Patane, Engineer, Ray Farrell, Conductor and Flagman, Tony Gambino, flagman, Bill Kaba, trainman, Peter Fluchere, ticket agent, and Earl and Mimi Pardini, Walt Otto, music and car attendants.


Sunday, December 30th

CMRR ran it's final Holiday Extras with the first train at near capacity. Passengers were treated to a wintry landscape including the recently opened and snow covered Esopus Creek Bridge C-9. Sunday's train crew included: Earl Pardini and John Patane -engineers, John Watson-conductor, Mimi Pardini-hospitality/music, Tony Bochinno and Mark Glaser-flaggers. Also assisting on board were George Peck, Walt Otto, and George Bain. Thom Johnson directed several musicians. Peter Fluchere was ticket agent.
