HRRC has a derailment in Great Barrington. Some unofficial reports state 17 cars derailed.
No news stories showing yet on a Google News Search.

WNYT here in Albany just had live coverage.

Cars hit the old train station (now an art studio).

Looks like the rail on the studio side flipped over on its side and the cars came off.

Not good at all.

HOUSATONIC - Great Barrington Police say no one was hurt when a freight train derailed shortly before 7 p.m. on Front Street in the town of Housatonic.

A total of 17 cars went off the tracks, with one resting against the Soul Tube Music Studio building.

...

The northbound train, with 43 cars, originated in Caanan, Connecticut and was headed for Pittsfield at about 10 miles per hour, when it ran off the tracks, sending sparks into the air, and shearing off part of the roof on top of Robby Baier's studio at 168 Front Street, while his wife, Carol, was inside.

Any idea if they're up? I'm catching up on old alerts:

Berkshire Eagle
GREAT BARRINGTON -- The rail line repairs needed to get a derailed train on the Berkshire Line in the village of Housatonic to continue chugging northbound will not be complete until early next week, according to an executive with the Housatonic Railroad Company.

Ed Rodriguez, vice president and general counsel for Housatonic Railroad Inc., said seven of 17 derailed railroad cars were back on the track by Friday afternoon.

The 43-car train was headed northbound from Canaan, Conn., to Pittsfield when it derailed because of a broken rail around 7 p.m. on Thursday near the village center of Housatonic. No one was hurt.

One of the cars that derailed came to rest against a nearby building containing art studios, Great Barrington
