Job Description


Local Rail Road is looking for four years of Management/Supervisory experience, Customer service experience or vocational training. Demonstrated Mechanical/Electrical background. Three month non-compensated training program. EMT, fire deparment, police, military experience is a plus. Heavy equipment operators with supervisory experience is also a plus.
Assignments can be to any location on the company's lines, plus the days and hours you work can change frequently. Selection is determined by a review of your work experience and other qualifications as described above.
If selected for consideration you must pass the written exam, two personal interviews, and a background investigation. If selected, you must then successfully complete a Pre-Placement Medical Exam. Selection is competitive. This company has excellent benefits and opportunity to grow within the company.
You must be able to memorize and pass a test on all the rail signals and their definitions, after completing the non - paid traing class.

Based on Salary its not MNCR but could be LIRR. most defenitly not NY&A or P&W or subway.

I'm almost 100% leaning that it's the LIRR. The give-away was in the description part where they start off by stating:'Local Rail Road'. Only the LIRR treats 'railroad' as two separate words.
