420 & 421 spent some time this afternoon shuffling the yard in Avon, NY
The covered hoppers and tank cars were being moved to set the order as needed. There were 6 covered hopper cars at the grain facility today being filled. This morning the crew took tank cars to and from Kraft before heading north towards Genesee Junction.

That's alot of power for a short train. I've seen the C-420 handle consists of similar length by itself. Did the locos come back with a bigger train?

Occaisonly, they have some heavy days, I saw a train come back from Rochester one afternoon with what looked like 50 cars. I wasn't in a spot to count. Was on my way to work. I have rarely seen a single engine pulling, usually it's a two engine move. But, with fuel costs going up, who knows, maybe that will change.
