Was wondering how many through trains a day the UP sends over the Cascade/I-5 mainline through Oregon? Was also wondering what types of commodities are handled? I'm guessing there's obviously Forest products as well as CP interchange from Eastport such as Grain, Fertilizer and Petroleum (LPG & Plastics) products Southbound. Thanks!

I see as many as 30 a day, but I will ask DS 68, next time I go on duty. It's his railroad, so he should know. Regards

I'd like to bump this question, since there has been no response. Anyone? I'm particularly interested in operations between Eastport/Spokane/Hinkle.
