Former MEC 44 tonner #15 was sold this year by the Conway Scenic to a to tourist
railroad in western Canada and former B&M 119 was sold a few years ago by the
Claremont and Concord to a railroad in either Georgia or South Carolina.

Does anyone know if any other ex B&M and/or MEC 44 tonners still exist, or have
they all been made into razor blades? Thanks.

Dave, the three you listed as going to Liberia are rumored to be on the bottom of the ocean after the ship carrying them sank during a storm.

Did not hear that...I'll have to ask one of the experts on Loco Notes if this rings a bell...

Thanks

Thank you Dave and David. Too bad the MEC/CSRX #15 went far, far away.

Not many original MEC locos still around in New England.
252, 557 and 573 that I can think of.

Extra 2200 South Issue 51, Page 20 shows Raymond International 4404 (B&M 116) in new paint at Brattleboro, Vt!

Also know someone who has shots of Raymond International 4405 & 4406 in the USA.

Dave,
It took me awhile, but I've come up with a photo of B&M 115, taken in 1958, with her stacks capped, sitting on a wharf, ready for shipment. Its still in B&M paint, but I have no location on the photo, the background doesn't look like Mystic Wharf, it looks more like Chelsea, but that would be absurd since Mystic Wharf would be the more logical point of shipment. I'm attatching said photo, see what you think.

Great photo...Thanks...I recently got an update from Ken Ardiger of Loco Notes fame regarding
the topic:

B&M 118 - Was #5111 for QT&I (circa 5/88)

MEC 11 was IM7C 1243 at Cut Arm, SK, Canada (this was also called Esterkazy)
MEC 13 was SFP&P 109 and scrapped 1976
MEC 14 was IM&C 46017 at Cut Arm, SK, Canada
MEC 17 was IN&C 46011 at Cut Arm also....
