NS 3026 has been repainted

Dash 8: 8305, 8312
SD40-2: 3405, 3412
SD60I: 6718
SD50: 5401, 5406, 5415, 5420, 5424, 5425, 5438, 5441, 5443
SD38: 3804
GP38-2: 5286, 5358

That was the last GP40-2 to be re-painted :(

Those two dash 8's (8305, 8312) may end up being the last CR blue loco's on NS roster as those two are in storage, not officially retired.

I am still going with my guess of a SD50 being the last survivor, besides the heritage unit! :)

On a related note, any votes for what paint scheme will appear on the heritage unit? (Original or "Quality")

I'll put in a vote for Original Conrail, being more "vintage".

I vote original Conrail. Never cared for the "Quality" scheme.

I would also say original Conrail.

If they were to do the Quality scheme though, I would want them to go with the SD80MAC scheme (photo not mine). I always liked that one.

3412 and 6718 are in the paint booth
3405 is on it's way to the paint booth
8305 and 8312 are stored in Roanoke,VA
SD50's seem to be anywhere in Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois
SD38 is sitting in Chattanooga to get transported eventually to Altoona. There is a low chance this will be repainted
5286 is in Morrisville,PA
5358 is all over the place

With 8312 now out of storage, it now has a much better chance of being painted.

Considering all the recent selling off of SD38's, I'd say 3804 will probably remain blue until it finds employment elsewhere.

As for the SD50's, they'll stay blue until they enter the SD40E program.

Actually NS plans on keeping 8312 in blue as it will be testing in Altoona. The rest is correct

By testing, you mean a portable loadbox?

BTW, my vote for the heritage unit goes to the AC "MAC" scheme.

No. Emissions testing. After that it will be going back to Roanoke for electrical work, then put into service, eventual repainting

5286: close, but no cigar. 5286 has been in Millville for the past two weeks, working WPMI61 to Camden and back overnight. 5286 spent the weekend at Pavonia.

nsdash9.com reports that CRQ SD38 3810 has been reactivated (along with NSHH 3800), bringing the total number of blue units on NS to 17.

Also, NS officially announced the heritage units today, and the Conrail unit will be a GEVO in original canopener paint. Three of the units (8092-8094) have been delivered in primer and are headed to the paint booth, and a fourth (8095) is on the way. No word on which unit will be the Conrail unit, though.
