OK, another RS series question. I saw this paint scheme on a weaver models RS-3 (please ignore the inaccuracies in the model, just focus on the paint scheme ;) )

Was this an actual paint scheme? My guess would be that it is either the delivery scheme for the RS-2’s (I couldn’t find photo evidence to back this up) or they forgot to put the green band on the bottom of the hoods as shown here: http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/dr1105/nh519.jpg
I remember a similar topic on the NHRHTA’s website but I wasn’t able to find it using the search function.

Don't know why, but they put an RS-2 delivery scheme on an RS-3. RS-3s had the band, RS-2s didn't.
