That is the same picture i saw a while back in an article. So i had to check it out. Its a long shot but since i grew up in the area, i know it fairly well. This picture looks like its in Mattawamkeag. I know, its a long shot, but like i said, i grew up in the area and i know it pretty well. There is what i guess you could call a stub track near Perma Treat at Keag. Standing at the "Station" in Keag, it would be the track closest to the woodline.

The one on the left here with all the B&M Hoppers on it.

I really think that pic on the Pleasent River website was taken at Keag.
Well done! I agree with you, thanks for solving that "mystery". Do you happen to have a good head-on closeup of the Pleasant River lumber wrapping?

There was a 2008 IRAP awarded to Pleasant River Lumber in Enfield for $157,326 for the installation of 1000 feet of siding for lumber loading and possible future shipments of roundwood and woodchips. Did this ever come to fruition? Was this the work done to P&C? If nothing came about maybe Pleasant River wasn't able to come up with their 50%?

Also did Pleasant River ever ship anything out of the LMS transload at Jackman on MMA?

P&C is its own trucking company. Logs and stuff. They just happen to have a couple of tracks running out behind there property.

jjoyce1, I will see if I can get a photo of the Pleasant River Lumber " wrapping " if you need one. There might be some at the local EBS building supply center here, and although I have not noticed any yet at the saw mill of theres at Washington Jct. there might be some there. I will scout around to see if I can find one. Usually some in the Bangor, NMJ area, but I won't be able to make it up that way until next week, but will see what I can find if and when I do. Jim
