I titled this thread "Post Your Conrail Video Here" , as there is a thread on the CSX forum called "Post Your CSX Video Here". I figured we could use the same format.

I have recently obtained a DVD recorder, which enables me to transfer VHS tape to DVD. Then it becomes easy to upload the video to Youtube.

So I would like to present these videos, which were part of a tape we produced in 1997, but never marketed. The Location is between Lebanon and Reading, Pennsylvania. This was a major railfan camping trip, as we set up camp in Prescott, PA, and videotaped all night, with the aid of a generator and lots of light bulbs.

*Sorry, Episode 29 was deleted. Someone brought up a copyright issue. The background music was "Waiting for my Train", by Jimi Hendrix. Although the song could NOT be played without the sound of a freight train rolling by, it was blocked in some Countries. I do have an original tape of the train WITHOUT the song, an maybe I will upload that version someday, but it's not on my to-do list.

I have recently purchased an analog to digital converter and can also convert older Hi-8 videos to digital for internet uploading...

Altoona Railfest 1998....the final Railfest before Conrail turned over the railroad to NS...

Stay tuned- Yesterday I dropped off an old 8mm (not Hi-8) video tape at the local photo shop. They said one week, I will have a DVD (they have to send it out). So there is more video coming.
