I received an email from the PA that several maintenance positions were opening up. From the materials I received:

We have IMMMEDIATE openings for experienced:
 Building Construction/General Maintainers:
 3+ years of experience in semi-construction including maintenance skills and knowledge in carpentry, landscaping, painting, roofing, and gardening fields.
 $15.98 hourly with a health benefit package (subject to collective bargaining agreement, currently under negotiation).
This is a seasonal position from September through April. Note: Assessments for this position has begun.

 Stationary Engineers/Watch Engineers:
 3+ years full-time paid work experience in the Utility Systems or Operating Mechanical Engineer fields.
 $34.53 hourly and a full benefits package (subject to collective bargaining, currently under negotiation).

 Utility Systems Maintainers:
 3+ years of experience in the Utility Systems or Piping and Plumbing fields.
 $32.02 hourly and a full benefits package (subject to collective bargaining, currently under negotiation).

 Electricians:
 3+ years of experience in the Electrical Maintenance field.
 $25.08 hourly and a full benefits package (subject to collective bargaining currently under negotiation).

 Communication Equipment Specialists:
 3+ years paid work experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electronic systems, and skilled in the use of radio frequency and fiber optic test equipment.
 $29.06 hourly and a full benefits package (subject to collective bargaining, currently under negotiation).

Stationary Engineers/Watch Engineers, Utility Systems Maintainer, Electricians, and Building Construction/General Maintainer are assigned to one of the Port Authority’s transportation facilities, such asan Airport (e.g., JFK, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty), Bridge (i.e., George Washington Bridge, Staten Island Bridges including Outer Bridge Crossing, Bayonne Bridge, Goethals Bridge), Tunnel (i.e., Lincoln, Holland), Shipping Port (Port Elizabeth, Port New York), the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Railroad (PATH).
