PINE TREE STATE at Washington Union Station (OCT 4-5, 2008)

Former New Haven lightweight bedroom lounge car PINE TREE STATE will be at Washington Union Station on October 4-5th for the station's Centennial celebration. The car is also being used as the crew/rider car for the Amtrak special train(s) to ferry three pieces of equipment (ACL E3 locomotive, SOU E8 locomotive and SOU heavyweight RPO) from the museum at Spencer NC to Washington DC and back.
