I know there are a few who've expressed interest in this on the board so I thought I'd cross-post.

Around 11:30AM I heard NI give permission for C761 to open up at Kyle
with instructions to inform when they were clear at 3M. Having today
off, I knew it was finally an opportunity to get a few shots.
When I first arrived, they were stopped on the main (stayed there for
some time... maybe 20 mins?) with the engine north of the cars. Do
they shove the whole way down from Kyle?
I drove around for a bit wasting time, until I heard them call NI to
say they were clear. At this point, I can see the first car of the
train east of the Rt. 601 crossing, so I parked and waited for him to
head in.
The conductor rode the lead car as they approached the crossing, then
set off the 5 tank cars and 1 covered hopper on the siding. They
backed up, and then took the remaining to covered hoppers into the
plant. I would have liked to stay and see them leaving, but had to
run. I did get some good ideas for next time though, and it's
certainly a neat op.
If you're coming north, there are two large spots to pull over in
just after the crossing, so unlike many areas around here, there's
actually a decent and safe place to park.
They were in there about 1.5 hrs, and then went up to Reckitt Benckiser in Hillsborough.
