So this might be on the market for a while. That might bring the price down. I'll wait and watch. At least at this price, the car, I hope will have a future

Save for the furniture, very little has changed to the interior.
Anyone got a spare $100,000 layin' around ?
Tri-State Tom wrote:AIR, the ELDCPS was fortunate to find and acquire sister car #470 a few years ago. Like #469, it was also in very good condition and after some normal operating and interior refurbishing it will be repainted back into the m/g/y.Let's just say we are aware of this situation and action has been taken. Everyone cross your fingers.
Along with the two still in service Phoebe T-L cars on MetroNorth and these two diners, it's amazing how they've been preserved 40+ years after Miss Phoebe made her final run.
BTW, the price tag may be too steep for the ELDCPS but hoping the Morristown & Erie might be able to acquire #469 and be added to it's varied fleet of coaches.
Delaware Lackawanna & Western Diner #469 SOLDNo date sold or to whom at what price....fingers crossed again
