Thinking limestone as that what the 5 arch bridge in Avon is -“ consists of five elliptical arches built of ashlar on limestone piers. “

Similar to the D & L abutments in Alexander.

Witnessed Wales Ave closed today from both ends with road construction sign stating "closed at RR tracks." The signals were going. Going onto the Twin City Highway (NY 425), I could see that the rails were being taken out of the pavement and new section was already constructed and laying to the side.

I wondered who ushered that in.

Does the Town Of Tonawanda tell CSX "you gotta do something about that crossing. Drivers are blowing tires out." Or does the crew white knuckle it when moving the train across it?

This is now the safest section from the Niagara Falls line to the building. Probably the guy who lives in the house only feet away from the track made a few calls. Probably worried that a car or locomotive might roll off a snapped rail onto his house.

It's difficult to tell if the cars have been moved or not. It appears that there hasn't been any significant movements. But, they are modifying the building. A new RR entrance?
