Looks like the undercutting is going to start soon, the trains over the Worcester main have been re-profiled.

What do you mean by re-profiling? Am not familiar with that term

I did see in a recent video from Clinton a pile of some kind of track materials near the ag branch bridge

Departure and arrival times are going to change, not in effect yet but we can see the change in profile, and it says the reason why.

The profile is basically the schedule of when they want the train to depart and arrive terminals and pass operating stations with lots of padding built in of course. Operating stations, or OS's are usually CP's but not always. Sometimes it's a defect detector or scanner .

People have to answer if a train is late so when major track work is done the train will be reprofiled.

I commented in one of his latest video's that people like the sound of the train alone and suggested he limit music to an intro and outro. He has done that in his latest video's so maybe it's time to give him positive feedback.

I heard an early M427 with CSXT 477 get a Form D to Burncoat at 16:40 from D1, instructed of a live re-crew at Still River. ----Off topic but immediately following B+E B100 started yarding his train.

A You Tube video from Northeast Railway in Clinton at the Agricultural Branch bridge shows some MOW activity ----https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pC6af93vss&list=WL

The machine is actually a "Ditch Cleaner," Loram has a very simple numbering system a "DC" is a ditch cleaner, a "SBC" is a shoulder ballast cleaner, etc.

In the video you can see track material and a loader parked along the track. Also a blue man-lift in the background, perhaps related to work on the bridge.

What's with the ROW being chock full of fresh ballast up to the rail head for several yards west (south) of Sterling St. in that video?

The 136lb stick rail has been there for more than a week. That lift has been gone a while as well I believe. The loader is a rental machine and that is still in the area there. The Loram equipment has been stored on Clinton East and there is quite a bit of Corman equipment stored on Clinton West. The Corman equipment has been there for a couple of weeks. There has been a forestry company clearing trees and brush under the bridge and along the west side of the tracks on the south side of the bridge. It has been cleared back quite bit.

115lb CWR has been dropped on the Ag Branch from Berlin to across the Clinton bridge in the video. You can actually see the new rail from the ground on the walkway of the bridge. The CWR stops someplace between this location and the route 62 crossing in Lancaster. Some of the crossings going toward Leominster have short sections of CWR dropped which I assume would be for crossing rebuilds. I don't think the whole line will be be getting new rail...at least not this season. Perhaps the plan would be to get the line to 25mph from Framingham to Clinton and then leaving north of there at 10mph. Track gang equipment has bee tied down on the Clinton runaround track requiring all runs to go to Leominster to use the runaround there. The crossing at route 62 in Berlin has been rebuilt. Looks like the next two going north a re next up.

Lot's happening in the Clinton area these days.

Not sure. That was done three or four weeks ago.

We have discussed what they might do to increase clearances here. Some have thought that they were going to raise the bridge which was done the last time. But why do this before raising the bridge? Maybe undercutting is all that's needed although the proximity to the grade crossing would seem to hinder that. We will soon find out I guess.

I wonder if they are going to put a temporary "shoo-fly" track under the west span of the bridge while they excavate where the existing track is to get it down to the desired elevation.
