Maybe PAS will do what CSO did - lease a loco from P&W that has working cab signals. P&W 2215 has been working on the Hartford line for at least a couple of months in CSO service.

Does P&W have one they can spare?

(I'm suddenly reminded of the Seinfeld "can't spare a square" episode)

Perhaps that's the issue that had to unit banned, but both are junk.

There's a couple other cab signal units running, but their cab signal systems are busted.

Went over to Deerfield today hoping to catch EDPL. Crew came on at 1100, but must have found something wrong with the P&W 2010. It went back to the house and did not come back out as of 1600. There is a bunch of highsided TFIX gons on the headpin when it does leave.

That explains why the train came south today instead of the normal Monday run.

The 352 ran on the first EDPL that ran with the PW 2010, but in the trailing position. So whatever ban was issued still allowed it in the trailing position.
