Not quite Tri-Rail, but related - I visited to the Intermodal Center today and found one of the Mitsubishi Crystal Mover sets had fallen off its wheel contact area when navigating one of the turnouts. One car was listing.
Always thought the guidance system of the Crystal Mover was a poor design to begin with; I predicted such an outcome a few months ago.

Looks as if the trailing truck of the second car didn't steer into the turnout, causing half of the whelset to beach itself in the gap between the concrete "rails." Note that the car is wedged against the guidance/power system in the center of the turnout.
