origins of private car "Puget Sound"

Does anyone know the origins of the pirvately-owned dome car "Puget Sound"? The information I've seen online is contradictory regarding its pre-Amtrak numbers, owners and build date.

IIRC The Budd Company built GN #1323 (unnamed) dome coach in 1955 for the Great Northern Railway.
