For what it's worth: a fifth state has been added to the collection of old Geological Survey maps at http://67.51.174.143 . 54 maps covering all of New Jersey are now available. The publication dates of the original maps generally range from 1883 to 1915, although three are 20-30 years newer. These were all pieced together using the JPGs available at the Maptech web site.

Thanks for sharing this site. Nice map of the Delaware Water Gap area

The Lambertville section has a nice detail of the Trenton - Pennington - Hopewell Traction company's line.

The Morristown section has considerable detail around the Hibernia Mine Railroad, sidings and spurs, etc. The Morristown & Erie hadn't bridged the Pasaic in 1907, and ends at the waterside. However, the Whippany Paper Mill spur, and the Malapardis spur are shown. Erie runs into Essex Fells and ends there.

Lots of Morris Canal detail. It's the dark blue line which is just south of the pond at Powerville Road in Boonton Twp, running southwest into Dover.
