Oil trains for southern New Jersey

The next 64W came in overnight; power parked at Sunoco Logistics in Westville Sunday morning: ES44AC 8059 and SD70ACe 1066, the NYC Heritage unit.

The 65W power is at the Pavonia enginehouse Monday.

The current NS 64Woil train arrived and made the first Sunoco delivery overnight Saturday/Sunday with NS 6769, BNSF 4130, and BNSF 6276. The first pull of empties was Monday morning with BNSF 6276 pulling and the other two trailing.

65W went out Tuesday afternoon.

64W came in overnight and made the first delivery to Westville; the power returned to Pavonia Enginehouse, including NYC Heritage 1066 and BNSF 4543.

With the PES former Sunoco plant on CSX now opened is that another unit train of crude oil to the southern Jersey area besides the NS served plant?

The PES plant is in Philadelphia. The CSX train passes through North Jersey and Central Jersey. West Trenton would be considered South Jersey only by people living in Sussex County.

Isn't that the plant that is supposed to replace the South Jersey plant that the 64W currently serves?

It appears that Sunoco Logistics in Westville will be around for a while. Conrail is working on having a siding installed on the Vineland Secondary in Westville to allow more efficient delivery of tank cars to the plant.

NS 64W came in overnight and made the first delivery to Sunoco Logistics, leaving the power with NS 1070 Wabash Heritage in Westville.

The next 64W came in Sunday night; the power was at Trash Alley Monday morning.

The turnout for the north end of the Westville siding on Conrail's Vineland Secondary was installed yesterday, photographed Friday morning.
