With NEGS only locomotive presently off property, does anyone know how the new PLLX unit will move from PAR to it's final home? Will it sit in Concord until VRS returns the 2555 or sends a replacement?

Lynch Materials ($500,000)Assuming they're counting each truck coming and going as a separate trip, that's 8,000 trucks' worth of material. Even if that's a wild overestimate, it's still going to be more than a slight uptick in traffic on that line.
The project will provide assistance in the construction of a railcar unloading facility to improve the sand and gravel supply chain to Eastern Massachusetts. Upon completion of the project, 16,000 truck trips will be removed from area roadways annually. Shipment of sand and gravel by rail will support the construction industry by improving reliability and reducing costs. Lynch Materials is providing a 79% match.

About 3600 cars a year.Even if that's a typical wild overestimate for PR, even 800 cars a year would be a huge increase.

Nh uses the bridge law formulas for trucks limiting capacity to about 30 tons a truck. Thanks, we had been trying to figure out the trailer tonnage when we working on some stuff the other day and we had used a 100t car as for the formula not knowing what the lease cars were rated at.
