Old thread, but is the NYS&W exiting the passenger business completely? Except for the steam train operation at Phillipsburg, NJ operated by the NYS&WT&HS? Also, is the freight operations being passed off to NS and CSX, essentially making the Susquehanna a fallen flag? So 142 (steam) will never run the mainline again between Susquehanna Transfer and Warwick, NY or Binghamton and Syracuse like it used to do? And, since NS will probably never let them run an excursion on their tracks, they own all active track in Phillipsburg except the Belvidere-Delaware south to Milford, the 142 will most likely be "stuck" there on the B&DR. Still, good thing to see a successful excursion operation on a line that was freight-only for years under PRR, Penn Central, Conrail, and Belvidere & Delaware River subsidiary of Black River & Western 1996 onwards.
