A poster on the NJT forum linked to some photos of NYSW Osgood-Bradley coaches from the 1950's, noting that the O-B coaches had replaced Budd stainless stock in an effort to end passenger trains on NYSW. Anybody care to elaborate on the times, people, or equipment?

From what I know, by 1960 the NYS&W was in dire financial straits, and sold off the Budd coaches they had purchased in 1950-51.

They then bought 6 very well 'used' Osgoods in 1958 from the D&H which had begun on the B&A. I think they started off as NYC equipment in the 1920's for the B&A commuter ops. O-B became part of Pullman Standard and made later the infamous American Flyer 10 window coaches for the NH among others.
