Are there any plans for NYAR to paint the rest of their fleet with that great green and black paint, or is this all we're gonna see? Are they saving money and waiting for the economy to turn back up before they do more engines?
I wonder, since this paint job seems to be a spin on the LIRR's old orange and gray scheme, might there be a possibility of NYAR bringing back other LIRR paint schemes? I think it would be pretty cool to see the other GP38s painted in a green and black variation to the LIRR's late 70s-early 90s two stripe wave.
