NS to abandon Fort McClellan rail spur

Sad to hear about that. I went there for my Basic and AIT back in 88 and it didnt look very used at the time

I recall in 97 when I was on the bus heading "down range" to the shark attack to begin basic training, seeing a NS engine switching some auto racks. During my 4 month stay for basic and MP school, that was the only time I saw anything moving around.
