That's pretty awesome..........looking forward to seeing photos from this event. Hopefully there will also be
shots of the Lackawanna unit working freight as well.

In anticipation of this Sunday's Boonton Festival ( ex-LACKAWANNA freighthouse and yard ), the LACKAWANNA heritage unit will be plying the rails on NS's Washington Secondary ( ex-LACKAWANNA Main Line pre Cut-Off ) in route to Dover today. Tomorrow, the plan is to have it WORK East on the Boonton Line ( now NJT's Montclair-Boonton Line ) with NS's local H-02. The beautifully restored LACKAWANNA Caboose #896 ( courtesy of owner Tri-State RHS ) will be along for the ride working H-02 and will also be on display at the festival.

Obviously GREAT photo opportunities on former LACKAWANNA trackage !
