North Wales Station on Endangered List

Septa is proposing to demolish the 130 year old North Wales train station and replace it with a "modular" design. Let's hope local pressure to preserve the original structure wins out.

Maybe Noth Whales should contact Southampton about their plans for their Septa station. Yes, I know the Newtown line is long OOS. I will post the link for the 350,000 dollar project to restore the station built in 1892.

That's about the only positive news I've heard on the Newtown line since SEPTA beefed up service in 1981, closely followed by Bucks County's decision not to pursue BRT.
