Hi everyone, I was invited to take New Jersey Transit's LETP pre-employment test and was wondering if anyone knows how I can prepare for the questions. I had read that it is pretty tough so am trying to do all I can do to be ready.....thanks.

There is no prep. Either you have what it takes, or you don't.

Meaning if you can fall asleep behind the throttle after 3 hours of sleep your hired!

All jokes aside railroading is in your blood or its not. Being an Air Traffic Controller it's the same way. Having worked in and being trained in many transportation careers I have some insight, ATC being one of them.

Whenever there was an ATC shortage which there is now I would see a bunch of people that come in attracted by the 6 figures in less than 2 years quote but 9 out of 10 of them wash out within the first year. Similar scenario with NJT and other RR's but the pay isn't as good. You do it for the love of it...
