NJT ACL Service Disruption - Bridge Struck

Due to a bridge strike, ACRL service remains suspended at least through the weekend between Philly and Cherry Hill. Trains continue to operate between AC and Cherry Hill. Bus service will operate between Cherry Hill and Philly. PATCO, River Line and #554 buses will continue to honor ACRL tix.

I just saw this story on the local ABC affiliate. A boom truck struck a rail bridge in Pennsauken NJ, displacing the track. The news video has a great picture of the damage.

Damage was done by a Dumpster hauling truck,that was empty at that time,driver didn't lower the bed that the dumpster
normally sits on! Moved the bridge span a foot or more,a very bad kink at the rails!

Out for 2 weeks
