Amtrak, via it’s Facebook group, is reporting 60-90 minute delays for trains traveling between New York Penn Station and Newark New Jersey. The cause of the delay is attributed to switch and signal problems in the vicinity of Newark NJ. Amtrak reports that crews are working on repairing the faulty equipment.
For those traveling via the NEC tonight be prepared for delays.
