Hello... My wife works in Tamauqua area and I am trying to learn more about the Reading & Northern Line in that area, Normally try to take her to work from time to time and trying to find busy times to go sit and watch the line and best place.

Also looking for CP Locations coming into Tamauqua and areas, pretty framiler with towns etc..

I sat on Railroad street already with no problems, Is that the best spot to go for activity?

Thanks for your help
Steve

The only two scheduled trains you can catch there are the Mountain Job that starts out in the morning at 5am and returns anytime between 2 and 5pm, then the Reading Turn heads south and doesn't get back until the early hours of the morning.

Monday nights an extra crew usually goes through Tamaqua between 5 and 8pm, Tuesday mornings (early) a Jeddo train runs north out of Tamaqua, and all the other trains are extras so you have to be lucky to catch them going through town.
