We wanted to inform the group that Depot Square Publishing has released a new book on the Rutland in our "Scenes Along the Rails" pre-1925 series. Entitled, "The Rutland Railroad, Rutland to Bellows Falls," this first book in a proposed series documents the Rutland and the towns served from Rutland to Bellows Falls in the heyday of steam. Using first generation real photo postcards, stereoviews, cabinet cards, vintage maps, and other ephemera, we portray the railroad through a point-to-point journey. The illustrations are from about 1860 through 1925 and consist of depots, equipment, on-line action, trackside industries, "main streets," hotels, and occupational scenes. While ideal for the New England modeler or those interested in Rutland Railroad or local history, the book is also packed with detailed captions, an extensive bibliography, and an index. This is a limited run, oblong format laminated hardcover printed on 80# gloss enamel paper and mounted to 120 pt boards. This book in made in America (Pennsylvania) by American labor using American materials. Details including additional photographs are on our website at http://www.depotsquarepublishing.com. Just click the "Rutland" box on the home page.

If this book sells well, we plan to do additional titles in the same series on other parts of the line. Thanks for your interest. Individual signed copies are available at no additional charge.
