I can't believe they snuck in and NO ONE noticed, where as 2199 and 2081 were spotted all through their treck.

The A&P owns Louisville and Indiana(LIRC). Not the Paducah and Louisville which I believe is former Illinois Central trackage...

Chris J Allen takes a lot of great photos, but he never captions them! The shots appear to be taken from within the yard, so he had to have permission to be there, which you'd think me might have gotten some info too.

They came in on P&W tuesday night and left on P&W Wednesday evening. They likely never left fresh pond, unless they were used on a turn to bushwick or LIC. I'm assuming NY&A got a chance to try them out for the day, because when they left they were used as pushers on the stone train along with one of P&W's GP38-2's. Waaaay too dark for me to get a worthwhile shot of it.

I don't know if it came back last night (assuming P&W ran), or if NY&A is going to try them out any longer than the few hours they did. I kinda doubt it though - they were on VRS not long ago & probably won't be on P&W beyond a few weeks. Not sure where they're going next on their demo tour.

If they do come back for some testing they'll have to be cleared for height through Jamaica. I'm guessing someone (P&W?) cut the plows already for 3rd rail.

Made another round trip today, will make last trip To NY Sunday night. Then back to Vermont with them. NYA is not testing them, or using them on its lines, just repositioning them for the outbound FPCH in that photo.
