For any of you who know what gallery 2 is, it looks like a very good photo organizer. My question is how web-savvy to you have to be to be able to upload it to a site? I would be doing this on AOL hometown or geocities, and I don't know any web programming. Can anybody help me out here?

You don't need HTML knowledge, if that's what you mean by 'web savvy'. You need good access to your server's directory so you can create directories for the program and data (photos). I don't know how AOL or Geocities would handle this. I've been using Gallery for over a year (currently version 2) and am happy with it. The program walks you through the installation also. HTH
