No doubt about it. The locomotive in the picture is indeed a former Canadian Pacific MLW C-424. It was built in Montreal Canada by Montreal Locomotive Works for CP Rail in 1965. MLW manufactured diesel electric locomotives designed by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) of Schenectady New York under license.
