Things I hadn't seen before, there's quite a few ah-ha moments in this one. One example was the military tickets, I've volunteered or served with quite a few vets from the Island who talked about getting around on the LIRR back when there was a lot more military and it was cool to see you touch on this with the furlough tickets.

Steve - As usual a labor of love for all things LIRR - Another interesting update...

I noticed a date error in a photo of #398 taken by Steve Hoskins - fourth left from the top of the 397-398-399 page.
The mention should be around 1980 noticing the Gabreski-era colors on #398 and GP38 #276 in the background.
1974 is before that blue and white color scheme was used - and was two years before #276 came to the LIRR...
