i just bought my first Conrail model locomotive in HO scale


got it for 40 marked down from 60

Congratulations! What did you get? My first was Athearn SD 40-2 #6408.

8226 now sounds like she needs to go to the shop...has developed some flat spots.
6666 is dead as a doornail...that MRC crap is getting ripped out and replaced with a Tsunami soon....it's already been to Athearn to be fixed once, and failed again.

6666 is alive again!!! She now has a Tsunami and sounds GREAT!

SD40 6276 is up next...she will emerge with a Tsunami and will be a SD40-2R when done.
