The Transit Authority operated a chartered train on May 22 and 23 using a R1, two R4's and an R7, all built in the 1930's. The trips benefitted the March of Dimes. The TA absorbs all expenses and the MOD gets all revenues ($40 per adult ticket).

Sunday May 23 was the first day of resumed D and Q service into Stillwell Terminal, currently under reconstruction.
