I got a Motorola MT1000 99-channel which I had programmed for the AAR channels 2-97. I keep mine tuned to Ch. 75 which is the NJT North Jersey Coast Line. Bay Head Yard about 6-7 miles away from my house but I can still hear the transmissions. But this morning, I seemed to only be RXing one side of the conversation only. Anyone have any idea why?

Other side of the conversation was probably out of range. Just because it's in range of the yard, doesn't mean you'll hear it.
Ah ok, I started to think thats what it was, since I was hearing Txs between the yard and BRIELLE fine, and then just the dispatcher randomly talking to no one...
