Whatever the train number is it comes off of the Montclair Boonton Line at Denville (as last stop) and runs X to Port Morris. Does a crew swap and then comes back as an X from Port Morris to Dover and runs REV down to Hoboken. Don't wanna make Lake Hopatcong cool, but Mount Arlington should be a must. There are a couple of trains that end at Dover that then run X to Port Morris at night and they DONT stop at Mt. Arlington or Lk. Hopatcong.

Do the majority of extra train crew get off at Dover? Perhaps its a timing issue with employee schedules?

It does seem silly to run to Port Morris and not stop at the stations along the way, especially if it could cover a significant service gap. It's not like you're saving time in the schedule, or adding a significant bottleneck to a busy section of track.

There is no crew stop in Dover for the X out to Port Morris, since a crew swap is made at Port Morris...
