motorized hand cars

I collect military equip and found a motorized hard car I think it was built for World War 11 it is paint in od with usa #s on it I was wondering if any body has any information on them.

Well, Rick, you should share some pix, of that "hard car" (your words, not mine ), and let us see. Hard to tell anything, from the almost non-existant description you gave. Tell us more, and include some pictures. As a note, cheap, OD green paint, can be applied to just about anything, doesn't necessarily make it US property, if you know what I mean. Regards

My first guess is that we're talking about a speeder here.

Here's a speeder that was purchased at a gov't auction at Lakehurst Naval Air Station. I'm not sure if it was used by the Navy,and it has been modified somewhat.
