More to the Tube than meets the eye

In the late 1950s I set out to cover the whole of the Underground. I travelled on most of it. I don't think I ever got to Aylesbury (which is no longer reached).

As there were no Oyster cards in those days I cheated on fares by not passing through the barriers at termini and returning on the next train.
