Saw Montana Rail Link SD-45 number 346 in full MRL paint on mixed freight, North Bergen, 12:28 PM, northbound, with two CSX SD-40-2s.
CSX and NS are flooded with foreign power.
On my way into NY the other day there was a CSX light power with a shiny B&P unit sitting up on the Lehigh Line at Valley!!! Thats not something you see every day. Also saw a CN SD40 in all grey with a big white wet noodle on the side.
UP and BNSF are now common. Look at the CSX engine facilities that are up next to NJT's MMC. At any given point, practically about 1/2 the power there now is UP. The only thing worth a look now is if you see one of the predecessor's units...
